THE GOA VETERINARY ASSOCIATION is an association attached to the Indian Veterinary association jurisdiction over the whole of the state of Goa The association was formed with aims of

To create an spirit de crops among the members of the veterinary profession.

To promote the advancement of Veterinary Science in all its aspects.

To uphold the dignity and honor of the profession and to safeguard its rights and interest.

To initiate, encourage and support veterinary research.

To publish veterinary journals, reports and treaties.

To function as state body representing the profession.

To advice and arbitrate in matters relating to education, employment and working conditions for members of the Veterinary profession, even in the court of law.

To function as state body representing the profession.To purchase or otherwise acquire any property or estate capable of being used for any of the purpose of the Association and solicit gifts, donation, contribution etc.

To co-operate with other states professional association and with national and international veterinary societies or association and to organize conference, conventions, seminars and symposia and to perform such other function as are incidental and conducive to the functions or attainments of the objects of the association.
